The Crockett County team that just pushed McMinn to the brink, got beat by Gibson County four times this year by an average margin of victory of 20+pts/game including a 40 point thumping.

A tournament poem for the big game tommorrow.

 

It was the night before the battle, and all on this site,

all the fans were trash talking and all wanting to fight.

The Pioneers and Wildcats would be dueling at noon,

Not much sleep will they get for the game is played soon.

13AA comes with desire and great thunder,

7AA's run has been filled with much wonder.

Gibson is our pride and great skills they possess,

The Academy of Livingston is historically one of state's best.

Both teams will play hard and lay it all on the line,

The winners will dance, shout, sing and the losers will whine.

Fans of both teams stay clean and stay tame,

and always remember it's still just a game.

Pioneers Pioneers Fight Fight Fight,

Merry state tournament to all and to all a good night.

Well for one we've proved that we can beat McMinn...but we're taking it onee game at a time....won't be long now!! Gibson fans you might as well not unpack your bags because you're gonna be leaving tomorrow about 2:00 o'clock...

ummmmm ok, einstein. We do have faith and belief in our team. Thats why we say that GC will be victorious. duh!!

McMinn was up on Crockett 45-19 late in the 3rd quarter when one of their starters fouled out. From that point on McMinn looked dazed and confused...I tell you this because the final score was not the real story. The real story is that McMinn almost blew a 26 point lead.

 

I really thought Seymour was the real deal until last night, not very impressive at all. Bottom line is that the winner of the GC/LA game has a great chance at a gold ball.

i think that Peabody will get the same thing that gibson co is getting right now before this is over. west tenn teams dont play near as well as ther fans do on the message boards
