Sorry, but OC cannot drop to 1A and play the Gleasons and Greenfields of the world. That's the only reason UC will be in the postseason this year. Westview and Milan proved that UC isn't in the same class as the top of 7AA, and Huntingdon, Peabody, USJ, and probably even my Pioneers would also show you that. So just keep playing South Fulton and go to the 1A playoffs and be happy, but don't criticize someone else for not making the playoffs. If I'm not mistaken, didn't OC beat you for the 4th consecutive year a few weeks ago??? Thats what I thought. And I dont think backinthaoc was slamming UC at all. It doesn't matter what offense you run. The key to the whole thing is the offensive line. We all saw what happened to Peyton Manning his first couple of years in the NFL. No line equals no wins. I know this is talking about high school, but the same principal hold true. The line is what makes or breaks a team.

When two players are doing a 1-on-1 tackling drill and neither seems want to hit: "I've had turds hit the water harder than that!" Hope that isn't too graphic and I don't get banned. The coach shall remain un-named....... hehe

This probably isn't written in any rule book, but the referee (the one in the white hat that is positioned behind the offense) is the one to make that call. If the kick is away and the punter has ended the punting motion, has both feet on the ground, has his balance, is attempting to pursue the ballcarrier, and isn't vulnerable to injury (as he would be with his kicking leg way up in the air and the other leg planted) then the referee is going to know that its a block. I'm pretty sure that the running into / roughing the kicker is meant to avoid injury when the kicker is vulnerable. The kicker should know that it's a contact sport and when the kick is gone, he's gonna get nailed. The officials should realize the difference and let them play. There is also the case when a player is blocked into the punter by the punting team. If a defensive player is blocked, pushed, or thrown into the kicker by the punting team, there is no penalty.

Thats right, Coach Rick Smith is probably the best jr hi coach in Tennessee! If you havent heard of him, you will soon! his teams always good and they can beat anybody. I bet his jr hi team could beat some high school teams. Obion lost a good coach when they let him go. Thanks! Go GC!!!!!!!

When Oboin came here Tuseday night, they looked beter than when we first played. The girls looked like they have to ability to make a run in the tournament. In the end, they didnt have an answer for Baird. I still think they are a dangeros team. As for the Smith guy, I didnt see any one other than Hoffman on the bench. Their was a young lady about 25 years old, but no other man. Is he a middle school coach AND a HS assistant? Whats the latest about Hoffman leaving? He looked happy on Tuesday night (other than loseing).

Which one is smith? I dont remember any assistants when we played up there accept the younger lady, and i figure her name is not "Rick" If he was thrown out of the game here in rutherford, I know the officials and they are TSSAA officials. How would no one have heard about it? The officials have to report it....I think?? hey fullcourt press...where did that smoke come form?? hahahahaha
