Just a bit of history from the movie- League of their own-

 

One of the staduims used in that movie is a Frontier League field located in Evansville, Indiana and is home to the Evansville Otters. The stadium itself is a beautiful representation of old style baseball stadiums. In fact that ballpark is one of the oldest in baseball.

If you get the chance, Make a weekend trip to Evansville this sumer to watch some baseball---

yeh i've been to evansville on my college day to visit the university of evansville and i saw that ballpark.. it was a site to see

I've seen all these, and there is one nobody has mentioned yet, The Bingo Long Traveling All-Stars and Motor Kings. Good movie about the Negro League players trying to break the owners. Fiction.
