Who will take over the new head baseball coach? What happened at Millington? Do they still play all their games on the USA field?

It is still up for grabs. The head coach is taking an administrative position at the school.

There has been a lot of interest in the job so far according to what I have heard and they still play their home games at USA Stadium.

IS Bo not coaching this year? Looked like he was finally turning the corner with that team.

Does anyone know how Davis is doing, he is a pitcher for Millington, hes a sophmore. He threw agiasnt JCM earlier this year.

Bo is still coaching this year and they have been like a yo-yo this season. Win 3, lose 3,win 3... They start district play tonight at Bartlett so we will see if they can step up to the challenge. As far as Davis McCracken goes, he is doing well. Only a sophomore and quite a ballplayer already. Probably has the best curveball on the team.

Millington is pretty good. They hit the ball well and their 2nd baseman is a player. Good hands and a good hitter. We could not get him out this past weekend. We also played Bartlett and they are the best hitting team I have seen in some time. They were hitting Freshman and Sophomore pitching, but they had great swings. The Millington and Bartlett game should be a good one. I'm not sure where the game is: USA stadium takes a shot to get it out, but Bartlett plays on a very short porch. Many Bombs hit at Bartlett. Bo is a great guy, and treated us very well on our trip to Memphis.

So much for a good game, it was all but over by the second inning. millington came out flat feeling that they could come into bartlett and play with no emotion and beat them. Junior pitcher corey rudolph finally broke out of his early season funk and had a solid outing allowing only one run in 5 innings. Bartlett also got the bats in motion scoring 13 in 4 at-bats. Sophmore pitcher Matt Nuccio was absent from today's game bc his father had brain surgery this morning, all of us at Bartlett would appreciate any prayers that you could send his way, as we hope to have matt back for tomorrows game at millington.
