Readthefield
A large field shows the real skill of the players therein.
JumpAround
This is one of the reasons it's great that Spring Fling is held in Memphis. Everyone gets to play on properly (and similarly) sized fields from the State Quarterfinals on. No other venue in the state can match it. Wow, that's a ridiculous statement. If Spring Fling were still in Chattanooga, the quarterfinals would work just as the girls did in the fall. GPS has a very good field, and CCS has one of the best in the state. Then there is Finley Stadium, where the soccer's been played for years for the semis and finals. Mike Rose was terrible for state last year. It was just another club tournament. No scoreboards and 6 games at the same time...pathetic for a state tournament.
stayNskool
yeah... chattanooga spring fling is better... you have GPS, McCallie, Baylor, and Finley... all are better than what Memphis brings to teh table

blu
I think that all of those private schools have magnetic fields installed under thier pitches to help them control the ball and win games.
lcsoccer
This is true blu. Knoxville Webb's field has to be one of THE best fields in Tennessee.
twinkles
I agree LC, Webb does have one of the best fields in Tennessee. Full size, good grass, and soft dirt.
