Lenoir City vs. CAK

LC lost with class tonight. Everyone on that field shook hands. There was no instance where Lenoir City didn't play with class. Sure it was heated, but at the end of the game there were no hard feelings. Maybe you saw something I didn't. Anyways congrats to CAK and good luck to everyone.

also wanted to mention that it looked like CAK did thier home work cuz they shut down the play makers, for the most part.

This was probably the highest paced game we have played since an early scrimmage vs. Bearden. L.C. never gave up, and always came with high pressure. I think that while CAK dominated the passing game, L.C. was more agressive which allowed them a very good second half. I think that L.C. has a tendancy to get a little emotional, and had several cards, but on the all and all, one of the best games so far. I have no doubt that we will see them in the Region finals. No one in their district should be able to touch them.

An excellent game, very fast paced and entertaining. The only complaint I have is the refing. For some reason CAK V LC just has poor refing but hey, its bad for both teams. LC played with alot of heart and to me they were classy. I can't say anything from all their players but I never heard anyone bad mouth a CAK player. As for the fans being unclassy its hard to keep cool on some of those calls. Hopefully we'll see eachother in the Region and state finals.

Well Played game to both teams. CAK coming up top as they were the ones that came out fired up to play with a flat LC in the first 10 minutes of the game. LC came out ready to play on the second half and got scored on within 20 minutes left in the game. It was then that everyone got fired up and LC started making some dangerous plays down the sides. With Mitch Thomas scoring the PK. It was then that everything turn into fast pase soccer. If LC comes out fired up to play the next games then LC will defenitely see CAK in the region finals. Looking forward to that moment. Being classy when winning means winning and not making a BIG deal about it and just taking it as another win.

Sweetwater scored off a dropped ball by the LC keeper. Shot count 11-2 LC. No excuses, Sweetwater played with everything they had.

Congradulations to the Wildcats! After playing their worse game of the year 7 - 2 loss to Chatt Christain, sounds like the Cats put things back together and played one of their best games of the season! Wished I could've been there. Who scored the goals for sweetwater, and what did sweetwater do to keep Thomas and Company off the scoreboard? Is it true that sweetwater plays CAK sat. night at 6:00?

WOW! Sweetwater beat Lenoir City, I just can't believe that. Maybe Lenoir City was a little overrated.

Sweetwater just beat us. I'm not making excuses, but we played our worst game of the year. No heart shown and Sweetwater deserved it more. Anyways, Sweetwater vs CAK @ 6, followed by LC vs CCS @ 8. Good luck to everyone.

LC is not over-rated, they came out flat and Sweetwater played with heart and took advantage of it. To say that LC is overrated cheapens Sweetwaters victory. Congrats to Sweetwater, and LC made a huge difference in their playing style that evening against CCS.
