I heard Kassi Stanfield's dad had a heart attack today? Is he okay? My prayers are with your family!!

Just left the hospital and Terry looks good. Heart rate went too high today and actually stopped beating while in the emergency room. Had to be shocked to get the rate going again. You have seen it on ER a 100 times. Will have lazer surgery on Wednesday or Thursday to correct the part of the heart that creates the rhythm. He should do fine. I hope and pray he does. Apparently this was present at birth and just now caused a problem. Terry has been a good friend and a big part of developing a lot of area players in fastpitch.

The Stanfill family just wanted to say thank you for your prayers. Terry is doing well and is scheduled for surgery on Friday. He should be able to go home on Saturday. So if you know Terry, he will be back next week to support his daughters on and off the field.
