All I can say is hold on to your hats. This game is going be one to see. I believe I would rather watch it than the Farragut/Bearden game this year. I am not making any excuses for the early loss for Kingston, however, they were down two starters who have returned and help bring the team back to 110%. I have said it all year, It all comes down to heart, desire and the ability to Believe. Kingston has made me a believer all year. Good luck Jackets. Kingston 2 LC 1

LC wins 1-0 ! Great game. It was a little rought at the end but the LC team managed to keep their head on the game and not in the Kington players. There where calls for both sides of the team and so it ends like this...LC Distric Champs. Good game by both teams, they showed class after the game was over.

Lenoir City had plenty of missed opportunities. It could have easily been 3 or 4-0. Great shot by Mitch Thomas on the goal. Drew McMillian had another good game just not quite enough for Kingston. I was a little disappointed in Kingston's fans though, its never appropriate to throw anything on the field.

Just goes to show, Drew Mcmillian is a good player but not a great one, leads Knox area schools in goals but it is always weaker competition that he racks the goals up. LC has shut him down twice and so has other decent schools. Sorry Kingston, but your year ends against CAK Tuesday. CAK by 2 or 3

The only reason L.C. shut down McMillan is because they doubled him the whole night and sometimes had three men around him. So, goals against Beech, Gibbs, and Oneida in the district semis don't mean anything. You are overlooking an excellent player that is capable of scoring against any team you put against him.

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
