DII Region Throws Results

does anybody have any results from across the state in the DII discus and shot put?

BA placed 1st (Ralls) and 3rd (Forte) in the discus (148 and 133) with Rodgers from USN getting 2nd (138)

 

MBA swept the shot put with a big throw from Bubis (51) and Santi (48) having a bit of an off day. BA Forte finished third (48)

 

does anyone know who might be the two additional qualifiers for state in these events?

McCallie placed 1st and 2nd in the shot. The 2 Okpokowuruk brothers got 1 and 2.

 

The younger one (sophomore) had a 51 ft. throw and the older one (Junior) threw about 48 or 49. At least that is what the Chatt. newspaper said.

 

For the discuss, Hanzelik (McCallie) threw 138ft and won the region. I think another McCallie boy took 3rd. A Baylor boy took 2nd in the discuss and 3rd in the shot.

Bubis is throwin 51 now? wow! last i saw he was at the 46-48 range, thats a pretty big improvement, and what year is he, a junior? You think he'll get up to the Denbo standards of 60+ feet?
