I-40 to Memphis

Last year, it took a while to get through Jackson on the road to Memphis. Does anyone know of any major slowdown spots this year?

once you get into memphis you may experience some problems. if you go through the 40 240 interchange, remember there is a new ramp to get onto 240 and you must stay in the rigth lane, but that makes it much simpler.

And the north side of the loop backs up pretty bad around the midtown 40/240 interchange. South side may too, but I never go that way.

i know on the weekday mornings traffic on the 40-240 loop is pretty bad

What about through Nashville?

Soup -- Check with TDOT. I-40 at Donelson Pike (just east of downtown Nashville around the airport) has been subject to many lane closures in the past couple of monthsm as they have been repaving.
