i heard oak ridge dominated the game and brentwood only had about 2 shots on goal is this true? it is just hearsay but i was wondering how the game was played and what happened

That's the farthest thing from the truth. Oak Ridge spent over 75% of the second half packing it in to protect their 1 goal lead. I am waiting on the box score but I know Oak Ridge only had about 2 shots on goal the second half. They had more than that in the first, one of which went in. I was there, saw it all. Oak Ridge was a very good team but they had to EARN it. Brentwood did not go down easy.

I dont know who told you that but it was simply not true. The last 55 mins of the game were entirely ours (brentwood). Oak ridge had maybe 2 or 3 short counters, but nothing else really. We had a ball go off the crossbar and another go off the post. Oak ridge scored its lone goal on a deflection that was kind of lucky, but, it went in and thats all that matters. Id say if you talked to anyone on Oak ridge theyd tell you they were very fortunate to come out with the win. Personally, if we were to play 5 more games, Id say Brentwood takes 4 out of 5. Its just one of those unlucky things for us, and now, no matter what anyone says, Farragut has just one a 2nd state title.

i was at the game and brentwood dominated the game if they played 10 games brentwoo would win 9 they jusss had 1 of thoes games where nothing was fallin thur way the reff's where bad OR had some good individual efforts brentwood was the betta team i play for blavkman n i would like to say OR was betta jusss c/ tehy beat us but they wernt brentwood is an awsome team with tonz of awsoem players to bad they lost i reall wish some1 could have challenged farrgut but that wont happen this year

Oak Ridge played a solid game defensively. Brentwood had plenty of chances, they just didn't find the back of the net. No excuses.

Oak Ridge was the better team on Thursday and deserved to move on to the finals.

I can assure you, there are no Brentwood "players" on here whining or making excuses. Nobody is bitter either. Brentwood wasn't even favored to get out of districts so I would lump them in with the "underdog" teams. We are all very pleased with their performance.

 

Others may have laid out the facts as they saw them. It is interesting that individuals from other teams, or towns, who saw the game, concure with most everthing any Brentwood fan wrote.
