JMo
Farragut's goal margin in the state tournament was 17-3. Enough said. Congrats to a well deserving "NATIONAL" champion. It sure feels good to win 2 state championships in the same day.
#1inthastate
Farragut is lucky that Brentwood had a bad game and was knocked out. Brentwood would have given Farragut a run for there money.
Seldon
Farragut is lucky that Brentwood had a bad game and was knocked out. Brentwood would have given Farragut a run for there money. Let's examine the validity of your statement: Brentwood was 18-3-2 after playing a schedule that had a combined record of 200-169-31; they lost to BGA and OR. Farragut was 24-2 after playing a schedule that had a combined record of 274-139-22; they destroyed BGA 6-0 and destroyed OR 8-1 in the regional finals and 5-0 in the State finals. Run for their money? I don't think so. Come tourney time, Farragut was playing so well that there was no other team in the State that could have challenged them. freekick2001
Its hard to think anyone could give Farragut a run for their money. They were peaking at the tournament. They didnt have any lapses during the season. Their two losses were against really good teams. Before the tournament started I thought Brentwood might be the only team that could beat Farragut but after seein how things turned out it would be hard to think Brentwood could have given them a run for their money. But one never knows, especially when two really good teams square off against each other. Congrats to Farragut. It seemed like they were mentally and physically prepared to defend thier title. They dominated the tournament.
