Syracuse won...Final Score 14-13. Navy played a great game though and almost came back to tie it with 40 secs. to go. I think Navy played with more heart and just made a few careless mistakes...any thoughts?

Navy's goalie had a tough game. Granted he dislocated his shoulder but, prior, seemed llike Syracuse was getting everything by him. Couple of key saves could've made the difference. Nevertheless, great championship game all around.

Loved every minute of the game except the outcome. Have to say I predicted the championship and the champion.

Awesome game. Probably the best LAX game I've seen. I was pulling for Navy. I think if their starting goalie hadn't gotten hurt they might have won. Tough situation to put a freshman backup into.

 

Tennessee LAX got mentioned after Ben Bailey scored the first goal. The color guy mentioned that Ben was from Memphis, TN and that there were only twenty LAX programs in the state. They then said that he's starting flight school on Thursday. Congrats to Ben and the rest of the Navy team for getting to the final and playing so well.

I think its disapointing that Navy had to lose. They had a goal get taken away from them at the very beginning that wouldve put them up 1-0 and ultimately may have tied the game. I was really pulling for Navy, but it was great seaseon for them anyway! Go Midies!

did everyone see the sports illustrated article about lacrosse? it talked about how it was a growing sport and its becoming popular.....mostly they wrote about this because they noticed the large crowds of 43,000 plus that went to see the semi finals and finals of Div. I.
