Has this team ever even had a winning record? They aren't very good. They might beat Jellico if those two play but I don't see them winning any games region wise.

Oakdale will have one of the top linebackers in East Tennessee in Cameron Headrick.

I do know one thing; Coach Willie Childers will be a great postive influence on his kids, he will always do what is right not necessarily what will win, and he will make these boys into fine young men.

 

Coaches in the area could stand to learn a lesson from Coach Childers; he sure helped this old dog remember what is most important.

I agree. Willie is a fine man and is a positive role-model for the boys at Oakdale.

What has happened to the Jellico team that all the Morgan Co. schools seem to consider them a doormat? They were pretty good a few years ago when they had the Bowlin boy and had to play in 2A.

I don't think they consider them a doormat rather just a team that is similar to them. Right now, Jellico is a bit down like Oakdale and Sunbright but I agree when Tommy Bowlin played nobody wanted a piece of the Blue Devils.
