Lee smith didnt play due too a knee injury

score was tied 27-27 and webb had the ball with about 2:45 left in the 4th. They drove down the field and had a 3rd down with about 14 seconds left from the 25 i think and the quarterback rolls out and throws to the tight end and gets a debatable pass interference call against powell and webb kicks the game winning field goal with 1.4 seconds left to win

Yeah I heard #22 has some jets on him...i guess he's been flying under the radar. What about Walker, I know last year he turned that game into a joke. Anything good from him tonight

I have never heard of huffmaker, i was suprised that powell did as good as they did without lee. Cody Watts has improved a lot of last year, i was really impressed with his speed and his moves for once.

Congrats to Webb!!! My dad kept calling me with updates, and said he was impressed with the Spartans' play -- this coming from a man who has seen nothing but BA football on the HS level in the past 10 years.

I saw the Pass. Interference on friday night hits. The webb tight end was being tackled before the ball got their. In my opinion powell's db did the right thing, it would have been a touch down because he was beat.

 

Who is to say webb's kicker misses from 35 yrds out anyways. Granted it was wet.

 

I will say this. Powell is a good team. Their line was huge, and #1 and #22 are good skill players. They are alot better than last year. Webb is alot better as well. The one thing i did notice, though, was that Webb seemed to be hitting alot harder, despite the size difference.

I don't think that ball was a catchable ball on the pass interference call at the end of the game. I thought that Powell was the better team, but I'm not sure that they were the better coached team. Powell failed to field a kickoff and Webb recovered. The Powell player just watched the ball laying on the ground. Also, Webb's game winning drive was aided by a 15 yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Powell would have probably won that game had it gone to OT, but they lacked the discipline to get it there.

how many tackles did #3 for powell have? 1 or 2 at best...alabama .lol
