WesVLT
I think that Cory Fisher is Jeff Fisher's son. I saw a Brandon Fisher being interviewed on the news the other day so that could be his son, but once again I'm not sure. Any CPA fans want to help me out on this one and tell me Coach Fisher's son's name? Good luck vs Riverdale next week, shock the world. 825307886 Jeff's son is Brandon, a senior at CPA, but there may be another Fisher named Cory. divepix
Who said there was no film? 825307870 What I meant was that CPA has a whole new offensive and defensive system with their new head coach. The only film GP could have that would help them prepare for game would be if they filmed a practice (which they may have done). They only had one scrimmage and the first team played about 1/2. By the way, Cory Fisher is not related to Brandon, who is Coach Fisher's son. Brandon is the "real deal" - fast, very strong, and a ferocious hitter from his safety position. Preseason 1A all-state and will have a great year barring injury. I wouldn't want to be Turner coming across the middle and meeting Brandon head on. twittycanes
Does Brandon have the tallent to play at a high level college like his dad did at USC? Who is recruiting Brandon?
divepix
Brandon has all the tools except his heighth may be a negative to top D1 programs. He is only 5'11" or so. It will be interesting to see if he goes D1. CPA's new coach says he is the smartest (football-wise) player he has ever coached. I guess hanging out on a pro football field all your life makes you pretty knowledgeable about football.
twittycanes
5'11" is not all that bad. Especially if he has the smarts to play & will hit you which it sounds like he has all those tools. By the way how tall was his dad back in his college days? He was not all that tall. Who is recruiting Brandon?
unbiasedspectator
I have confidence that Fisher will be a D1 player. He has that presence. He is all over the field, tackling, intercepting, forcing turnovers, blanketing wideouts. That kind of persistance is hard to pass on. grizzly55
i'm not sure what position he'll play in college. i guess strong safety, but i think his speed is more of a concern than his height.
