WesVLT
Brentwood won 18-14 825316808[/snapback] WOW!!! That close? I'm quite surprised.
FHSrebel27
Wow... BHS barely beats a not so good Father Ryan team. Centennial beats a not so good BGA team. Franklin is looking better and better... I think...
Brentwood#1
brentwood is missing there starting quarterback he should be back next week, might make a little difference.

MTBK4
BHS/Ryan game was very sloppy. Both teams struggled. Ryan played with more intesnsity and were more into it. Brentwood had 2, maybe 3, interceptions in the first half. QB had a poor half, but picked it up in the 2nd.

They will beat Brentwood, and will give Centennial a good game, as well as Franklin.
BigDogDaddy
Oakland was a little bit of a stretch I admit, but I was not at all surprised about Centennial. Stop Steele and you stop Centennial. I also posted that Ravenwood would be the surprise and that they would take the #4 spot in the playoffs over Centennial. fromthetop2
Definitely was a game where it was obvious one team had played a game already-and the other had not; at least for the first half. With Welch injured and not playing,(he'll play next week), and McCurdy having only a week and a half of practice, he looked rusty and out of sync with his receivers the first half- lots of bad decisions, and throws which resulted in INT's or near-INT's. Sloppy first half offensively marked by the occaisional good play. Bruins defense played well first half, but poor tackling gave Ryan a big gain for go ahead score. Second half was all Brentwood as McCurdy settled things down. Ryan had the ball only 5 plays in the third quarter. Bruin linebackers were incredible-Benji Goff dictated play during the game. Ryan's defense is vastly improved over last year-really swarm to the ball. Offensive mistakes and penalties killed them. I don't like the Wing-T, but they may not have the right amount of players to run much else. Being in such a tough division, they are much better than last year-but may not have the record to show the improvement. Best thing for Bruins was it was a W-not much to brag on, much to work on, coaching staff now has a read on what needs to be worked on
babyboycs2
Father Ryan is good team....they have improved alot since last year and keep improving each game........the defense of ryan is solid and is prolly on of the best in DI led by prolly the 2 best linebackers and secondary in DII also......i would not say the game was sloppy......the ryan defense really forced brentwood to make bad choices with the pass rush from our line and good play by our secondary......yea brentwood did pick it up in the 2nd half and we could not really get our momentum back but we really proved to a bunch of critics and other teams that ryan does not stink and will not get there ###### beat by alot by anybody and is gonna be a force to be reckon with bc ryan has great athletes that work together and are all in one.....right now were 0-2 with close games under our belt but its gonna change after this loss to brentwood that ryan should have won but didnt
