Grass Turf?

I know Bethel College in McKenzie is building a new football stadium that will have this turf in McKenzie and I bet that McKenzie will move from there current stadium to there. If they don't I don't understand why, it would be a great place for high school football and better than that pit that got now.

Hey, tell me where they're gonna build the new stadium and when will it open? Is it under construction now? I'd like to drive by there and see how its coming along. .... And, you're right in that McK H.S. should play games there. With them moving to 1A, that would probably be as good a place to watch a 1A H.S. game in the state. I'm looking forward to that. .... Not sure if contrsuction has started but i worked in the mid-south conference office in the naia. i remember them talking about maybe moving the naia football championship game there.

i found a link to the construction photos of bethel's new field. they just began construction in april.

The cost to put in a whole field is around $250,000. The University of Oregon did it twice, in back to back years.

I know of a school out in SanDiego that has Fieldturf, and it is nice!! But they use it for everything, from football, soccer, track and field, and lacrosse. Plus this is California I'm talking about. Anyway I don't think my old high school would put it in because our coach woludn't have anything to do because he mows the field every other day.

It is under construction. It is supposed to be finished by Bethel's homecoming game in October. I think that is pretty optimistic.
