I think that McMinn has a good team but can't seem to put a finger on what they are doing wrong. I really believe that Central will be the better team in the end now that they are playing Hambrick at Quarterback. The only reason I have them ahead of Central it is because McMinn has lost to better opponents and their win came from a better team. Central has lost to a suprisingly decent Notre Dame team as well as East Ridge, but their one win came off of Warren County. I think at the end of the season Central will be right there in the thick of things.

I would just like to point out that someone's stats on that kid are way off. I follow the punters and kickers around this area and Hambrick couldn't have had 2 punt returns for 45 yards when Gregory had 2 punts: 44 yards 7 on the return and 38 yards out of bounds at the 6. Just thought i might point that out. Might want to check the rest of that kids stats also.

I'd have to give the player of the week nod to Dustin Fults from Grundy Co.

 

23 carries for 212 yards, 3 TDs, 1 2-point run

4 of 6 with 1 Int for 66 yards

3 of 4 PATs

3 kickoff returns for 51 yards

1 pass interception for 20 yards

2 punts for a 36 yard average, long 41

 

The tackle stats are done off the film on Saturday or Sunday. He had a few of those too.

 

I'd say that's as good a night as anybody in the state.
