I still stand by what I said about Yoakley and Harb. But I will say this about Yoakley. He does provide CAK with somewhat of a rushing attack and they can kill you with those halfback screens to him. Yoakley is GOOD... but not GREAT.

 

 

 

Yoakley is not a rusher nor have they ever thrown a halfback screen to him...you must be confusing him with someone else

Jay Smith (#25) and Taylor Yoakley (#9) are two very talented receivers. If they are out for any period of time, that will hurt CAK. I thought Harb directed the offense well.

Against Coalfield last year, he absolutely killed us on those halfback screens. He was lining up as a back last year against Coalfield but CAK might have just decided to use him primarily as a receiver this year.

No dude he's definately a receiver. And how about Douglas of Oneida getting nominated for player of the week in PrepXtra, granted it was against Sunbright.

Just reading a few things from and about CAK this year. Hmmmm, seems like the BIG upset victory over Cloudland has put a target on CAKs back and dropped Cloudland to the depths of despair. Everyone seems to delight in beating CAK and Cloudland was 0-3 until they beat the mighty North Greene 8 - 0. Man what a turnaround!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CAK always had the target on their chest because they're a private school and that gives their opponents a little extra motivation.

If public schools really disliked the privates as much as some people think, all the debates at the TSSAA meetings would be unnecessary if the publics would simply refuse to schedule them outside of required region play!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe not even then!!!!!!!!

No. 41 is Trey Bowland is their tailback abd he catches a ton of screens and shovel passes.
