Owls had 180 yards of offense. Bees had 77.

Bees fumbled several times a retained them all. Owls fumbled 11 and lost 3.

Owls 2 interceptions. 1 early returned by Plummer for a ...... ahum.....the score. 1 by West late to pretty much seal it.

Owls defense played very well. Offense had a couple of good opportunities to score. Fumbles and penatlties killed those chances.

Very tough conditions to play in. Driving rain and I am still soaked.

Overall a win is a win is a win.

Next Week ............................. Macon Co. comes calling. Hope all hurricanes stay far, far away.

PPride....it sure looked like it tonight. The light drizzle had a small impact on the score. Sloppy...Sloppy Game!!! Maybe it won't rain on Friday Nights the rest of the year....if it does...wet ball drills could possibly help players adjusting to the elements. A Win is a Win.....and if they don't score....they can't win!!! Way to tough it out OWLS....Be thankful to get that one behind ya!!!

OldSC7....Upperman never threatened to score....they had one first down in the second half.

Oak Ridge 48

Heritage 12

You could hardly call this a game. They should have brought the swim team. Even on dryland OR just had too much horse power. They ran the clock the whole time.

It sure didnt have that friday night Oak Ridge game flavor. It was over in an hour and half. dissapointing as a fan but another region win down

    • It's time to play everybody's favorite game of how is this season going to go. I'll undertake the fool's errand of a prediction. Encourage the region 2 fans to do the same. Cloudland: Top until they get beat always seem to perform year in year out with a small changing roster. Cosby, North Greene: These two could finish in either order they didn't have big senior classes. Lots of young guys got experience last season and most of their best athletes are upperclassmen it'll depend on coaching and if the kids can put it all together.  Jellico, Unaka: Like the two above could finish in either spot both of them lost key pieces to graduation. It'll depend on how returners play and if young guys can fill shoes.  Hancock: Small roster size devastated by a big senior class that took a lot of the experience and athleticism with them.
    • Confident that Marion, Moore, and Gordonsville are losses.  7-3 would be a nice turnaround.  5-5, 4-6, 3-7, etc. and it's a disappointment
    • Win the Watertown game, you can start 4-0. Lose it and you might be anywhere from 0-4 to 3-1.
