You know, accidents happen to everyone. It just happend to be a very bad one to the kicker. Even though that happend, the cougar defense held up strong and forced a turnover on downs.

So this kicker kicked it all the way over that hill coming into CC's stadium??

what happend was this:CC kicker was turning around to back up towards the ball to give the kickoff play(backing up so everyone can see him). In this process, he accidently kicked the ball after the whistle had been blown. This resulted in a 1yd kick, which gave South Doyle field position on the CC 41.

well i thought it was hilarious... when you loose like that .. little things like that are the highlight for ya. i never understood why it wasnt a re-kick honestly?? can someone help me

IT wasnt rekicked because the whistle was blown and he accidently hit the ball with his heel so it was considered a kick. ITs not like he hauled off and booted it as hard as he could for those of you who think that.
