Who are the better teams in the different districts this year?

In are district it's Cumberland Co.,Rhea Co.,and McMinn

Hixson won district 6 today at Bear Trace with a 303. Hixson's top 3 golfers finished 1-2-3 with 2 of them in a playoff for first. CCS finished second with a 316 i think. How were the scores in the other districts?

Greenbrier won their district by 3 strokes (317-320) over Davidson Academy and Portland finished 3rd. Josh Young of Greenbrier had the low score of 76.

Wayne County claimed the District 8A-AA today winning by 21 shots and with some bad scores for their players Andy Beckham claimed the district as low medalist with a 77 after winning a 3 way playoff, Brady Berlin finished a playoff also for 5th and won it finishing with an 83, Chirstopher Lynch finished tied for 8th with and 85 and Justin Kelley finished with an 88 shooting 333 as a team in one of their weaker showings. They move on to Region 6A-AA Monday at Bear Trace Ross Creek Landing in Clifton where they hope to advance to State Tournament but will need to improve and play stonger.

Livingston Academy 1st, Clarkrange 2nd and Jackson County 3rd will join them at the region! These same 3 teams came from the same Pre-District just in opposite order, Jackson 1, Clarkrange 2, LA 3

Lexington won their district Monday shooting a team score of 308 at the Tennessee River Golf Club. They will advance to region at Shiloh Golf Course in Adamsville, TN. The Tigers were led by sophmore Chandler Grissom (72), junior Sam Hinson (74), junior Chase Grissom (77), and junior Mack Gardner (85). The defending state champs look to make it a two-peat this year.

Today at Dayton Cumberland Co. won with a 315 i think

McMinn central was runner-up with a 327

Rhea Co. placed in 3rd 335

Cleveland with a 345

 

Note-Course conditions were rough, wind gust up to 35 mph, and tricky pin places ments

 

Hunter Green had lowest round overall with a 73 one over par.
