you just won a free deli sandwich for having the longest sentence in the history of coacht. alcoa by 4 or 5 touchdowns.

Speaking as a former alcoa player, there will be no lack of motivation on the Alcoa side of the football. Believe it or not we loved to beat rockwood more than any other team in region 2. When meadows was there, it was the only game he cared about, and when he left the ones that were still there fed that hatred to the new guys, this year's juniors. rockwood may be 5-0 but that was there record last year at this time and my alcoa team that was 2-3 came in and laid it to them for 48 minutes. this year's game is going to be even worse. alcoa by at least 3 touchdowns.

I see this game as a close one, not an Alcoa romp in the park. I expect Alcoa to win the game by 7-10 points because of balance and they have taken good care of the melon. Rockwood is a running team and have a stable of backs who have shared the load but will need to get a few yards passing to win the game. Alcoa is tough at home but has given up about the same amount of points per game as RW has thus far this season. If RW can slow Lindsey and get some points through the air, they might come away with the upset. Again I think Alcoa wins.

I will say this, i believe alcoa will win, i don't know bout rockwood so i won't post some ridiculous score with nothing to back it up, but i will say that if alcoa wins by 21 it should send a clear message, alcoa is the one to beat, but i guess we will see tonight, i will be there cheering on alcoa, and i hope we live up to the hype.

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
    • Pirate fans, thread is up on the baseball message board.
