lmao, westmoreland, are you serious? I have seen them play and they aren't in the top ten teams in 2a.

 

IMO, the top 5 are

 

1. Lipscomb- they are hungry from last years embarassment

2. Carver- they are going to surprise people I promise

3. Tyner- Physical club that will have a easy time till the playoffs

4. Huntingdon- After witnessing the Westview embarssment, the only reason I put them in here is because they are defending champs, one more poor showing and they are out.

5. Goodpasture- If Goodpasture makes it to the finals, no team out west will be able to cover Turner.

 

Honorable Mention- Mitchell, Alcoa, Camden, Fairview, Westview and Milan.

Don't get me wrong, I cant stand D.Libscomb or Goodpasture. But when they play its as if they're machines. I have respect for Libscomb though.

I agree again Bertier, Carver and Mitchell will be my choices in the playoffs, until they play the dawgs.

They beat Westmoreland, they have lost to undefeated 4A power Hillwood and to the rising 3A Montgomery Central by one point. They have beaten everyone else ver easily. I just love Westmoreland's non-region schedule Macon Co. (1-4), Allen Co., KY, and Lewis Co. (very young team in our region.) Fairview has played better opponents than Westmoreland and that is how they get an honorable mention
