dback is from Fairview, man I remember when Rewis called us over to the hill during camp my junior year and I had no clue what I was getting into. But I have to say that was the best thing that happened to our team because we were in excellant shape. I remember running a 21 minute hill one day, but we all knew we were putting "money in the bank". Does he have you guys at Heritage running the hill?

i THINK THEY ARE 0-5 AN WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO SUSTAIN A WINNING PROGRAM BECAUSE OF MARYVILLE, ALCOA AND BLOUNT!! HOWEVER, THEY DO PLAY VERY HARD AND WILL POSSIBLY UPSET A CHATT. AREA TEAM. LOOK OUT AISY AND OOLTEWAH!!!

WHAT? You say Heritage will never be able to "SUSTAIN A WINNING PROGRAM BECAUSE OF MARYVILLE, ALCOA AND BLOUNT!!" Granted Maryville is clearly on top of Blount County Football but (W) Blount? What is WB's record 0-5 and may not win a game this year! The difference between people who pull for Heritage and WB is Heritage understands changes have to be made. Heritage understands they are down and doing what is necessary to improve the program. Given a chance Coach R will have the predominate 5A team in Blount County.

I agree with RebRon, when Coach R gets the student body excited about the Heritage program he'll have studs coming out of the woodwork to play for him.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
