i dont think there is much to say about this game. it was gonna be a tough game to begin with and westmorelands fullback/nose guard just tore his acl friday night. i hate to say it but the next few weeks could be tough for the eagles. but they will play hard as they always do and still have a chance. their season could come down to that final game with east robertson like it did last year if they beat houston co. and we all know lipscomb will play goodpasture in the second round. what else is new.

Lipscomb never plays goodpasture in the second round. Goodpasture will have to finish third in order for that to happen this season.

Xplayer is right, last week Westmoreland might have been able to hang with Lipscomb a little...but now, with Armbruster out, they have no way to control the game. Lipscomb by a bunch.

Yea Westmoreland's QB is limited to only defense now because of a knee injury. I think the difference is DL might have a bit more depth that Westmoreland.

The fullback has an injury to his right knee and has tore the ACL ligament and Cartlidge in the back of his knee and will have surgery Oct 21st to reconstruct the knee and will out for the rest of the year

Matt Elrod did play fullback last week. Austin has verbally commited to UT. I dont believe he has actually signed yet.

With Wests. FB out and their QB only playing defense, It could be a rough game. But last year it was supposed to be a blow-out, and Westmoreland stepped it up and went into the half only down by 4 pts. If Westmoreland brings their A-game, it could be an exciting game. . . By the way, the final score was 21-3 last year. DL was picked to win by 42.
