District 15 A

I heard South Fulton looked great this summer. Can Dresden or Gleason handle them?Will Greenfield be stronger this year?SF has good seniors in Cawthorne, Harris, and Alexander. Dresden counters with a plenty of outstanding seniors led by Bailey, Levister, Hughes , Rook and Quinton. Gleason has no seniors and not big at all but a great Coach. What does everyone think?

15A will probably be the strongest district in 1A in the state. All four teams return a great deal of talent. Greenfield did not have any seniors, SF returns the core of their team, Dresden's senior class is loaded and Gleason played mainly FR, SPH & JRs last season and made it to the sectionals. This is a tough district.

This summer I played against Greenfield. They had a pretty tough team. They were very quick and moved the ball fast. Both games were close with my team and theirs but we lost both times.

This was a great 15A District Tourney last season and most of the main players of all the teams are back.. Dresden had a key injury last season to Bailey but she made it back for tournaments but probably not 100%.. She is all the way back this year and leads a great senior class with Levister and Quinton.. Gleason is loaded with an outstanding guard in Hudson among others.. SF is back with all the leading players from last season, but depth may be a problem for the Red Devilettes.. Greenfield as all their main players back as well Just a four team district but very competitive.. When you add Peabody an up and coming Lake County club this

season, Region 8-1A should be exciting as always.. thumb

Probably accurate westtn_basketball, although Dresden and South Fulton could change 2 & 3 spots.. The Lady Lions have the better overall player in Bailey and depth could give SF some problems.. Their starters though are pretty solid

You are right, redbirdfan. (By redbirdfan, if you mean the Cardinals, it looks like they may get the win today.) I do believe Dresden has the upper hand over South Fulton, but they may prove to be more equalized than I am predicting.
