Should have been a great game, but Northeast is going into the game this week one big man short. Lost a key offensive contributor on the second play of the Maplewood game in Senior tailback Daniel Swenson. It showed last week when the Eagles could not get a good offensive flow going in the loss last week to Mt. Juliet, a team they should have really had no problems with.

The Eagles are steady, not explosive, and if they can keep it close, they may can pull out a win.

it will be a close game. daniel swensen of ne is out with what might be a torn acl. qb barry cunnigham and offensive player matt scott had been struggling with some injuries... but both should be ok to play on friday. they will have to come together and play hard to beat overton but it can happen. they are both good teams and anything can happen friday night!

Overton must pray to the scheduling gods-they finished 6-1 in the region without having to play Hillwood or Hillsboro. How sweet is that?! They have only beaten one team in their region with a winning record-Columbia Central. They might not be as tough as people think. Go NE!

overton is a good team with great leadership the only downside to this team is playcalling. which has been on the why the heck did you call that play. example overton is up 13 to 12 over stratford with 52 seconds left 4th and 3 and coach anderson decides to run a fake turns out we fumble the football and there goes the game for jonny O. they will be ready for NE!!!!!!!! Mt. Juliet has had a tough year but you will deffinetly have to give them more credit than what you just did because they did come out and beat a team that was 7-2 and a playoff locked team.
