basketballfan2003 Posted November 3, 2004 Report Share Posted November 3, 2004 From Shelbyville Times Gazzette: Play Days tip off seasons High school basketball teams across the state hit the hardwood as the 2004-2005 high school basketball campaign officially started with pre-season practices Monday. With that in mind, Shelbyville’s Eagles and Eaglettes will each host a Play Day. Twelve of last season’s girls state basketball tournament participants -- including the defending state champions in Classes AAA, AA and A and the runner-up in Division II (private schools) -- will be part of the Eaglette Playdays 2004 scheduled Nov. 12-13. Games will begin 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12 and 8 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13 at Shelbyville Central High School, Harris Middle School, Shelbyville Recreation Center and Thomas Intermediate School.
