It's kinda nice when you have the presence fo mind to stay on track and take care of this past Friday's business, while knowing all along that the match-up you really wanted was the one you Cyclones earned for this Friday. Sullivan East. Knowing that is what the Cherokee game was all about (getting back to East) was the carrot that hung out there for the Betsy boys to get after. That carrot from up in Bluff City. Well, now you are where you wanted to get. To avenge two unexpected loses to a very good East team. Nice little piece of motivation. There should be no problem being right for this game. Sullivan East has the carrot this week. They want another shot at the only team that not only beat them but embarassed them this year! Can Sullivan East really beat Elizabethton 3 times in a row? No one thought they would beat them a first time but it happened! Both teams overcame turnovers in the first round. How much can they overcome in the second round and stay alive?

Well Elizabethon won't have to worry about Eads. I believe Matt is having surgery on his left hand on Tuesday. The win against Greeneville was his last game.

From what I heard, Eads had was hurt before the Greeneville game and he did a heck of a job. I just don't see him missing the Elizabethton game. Just won't happen. Prepare Cyclones! thumb

If Eads requires surgery and did play against Greeneville hurt, he is a heck of a man. I think everyone knows that. If I were him, I'd play Friday and have that surgery before the game after that!!
