New regions

What region will these guys be in next year. I've heard Grundy may get sent to the Nashville area. I've also heard Meigs or Tellico could be sent to Knoxville region. Anybody have any guesses?

Im pretty sure Meigs, Tellico, and Polk have all requested a move up to 3-3a(the region that Grundy is in now). Im not sure if Grundy will stay or not. The new regions will come out November 15.

Grundy will stay on the Chattanooga side from what I've been told. So you will have Grundy, Howard, McMinn Central, Sequoyah, East Ridge, Notre Dame, Meigs, Polk and Tellico.

 

Hopefully the new teams will bring crowds. Howard never brings anyone.

 

It will hurt Grundy in one reguard because it will only allow 2 games outside of the region. Those two games will likely come from Marion, South Pittsburg, Sequatchie, Coffee, Bledsoe or Whitwell.

 

It will help Grundy because there will be no more automatic bids to the playoffs. The top 4 out of 9 will be much tougher than out of 5.
