I was at the Pittman game and RW showed great poise!!! An early turnover and losing one of their best players to an injury, put their backs against the wall...but they didnt get down and crawl in a hole!!! They just grinded it out and came away with a 2nd round W!!!

RW will have to play, by far, their best game of the year. Alcoa is for real!

I'll call it 31-21 Alcoa! thumb

Anything can happen. I think Alcoa is the best team I've seen all year and that includes Austin-East, but Rockwood isn't a slouch. Like BigCat said, if they show up to play and play every play like it's the most important of the game then they could pull the upset.

Whe gave Miss. State a chance against Florida this year or Baylor over Texas A&M?

    • Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
    • Interesting how quite it is. Rumors are going around that Anderson County is being looked at by TSSAA for recruiting violations with the Campbell County transfers.
    • I heard from a member of the teaching staff that there has been a dispute over use of the game field between football, and girls lacrosse team. Girls had a game and wanted to warm up and football coaches did want to leave. The football coaches came down hard with some bad vulgar language and the girls lacrosse backed down. What a classy act BHS athletics has become.
    • The lawsuit requests a jury trial. Sable Winfree has extremely competent legal representation. FYI - her lawyer represented the Warren County school system for years, and I believe he knows what constitutes a reasonable lawsuit.
