DCA @ USJ

Can DCA find a way to play with the intensity and emotion it played with against Mt. Pleasant? Can DCA play near flawlessly 2 weeks in a row? Can USJ slow down DCA's offense? Can anyone score more than 16 against DCA's defense? How healthy are both teams after playing 13 games? If the answer to the previous question is not very, how deep are both teams? The answers to these questions will determine who plays next week and who is Christmas shopping.

DCA beat Jackson Christian at the beginning of the season 28-7. USJ beat JCS 6-0 in overtime and 20-17 the other night.I saw DCA play the other night and was very impressed.USJ has got tremendous speed on defense with no player weighing over 200 lbs. I'm telling you they can flat fly and are great tacklers.Should be a great game!

BrianK reverse that score I think you put it in the wrong order....just kidding it will be an awesome game and neither team will lose by 32 points. My pick is USJ all the way. Maybe they don't have size on DCA but they have the hearts of lions and play harder than any team in the state! USJ STATE CHAMPS! See ya at the Boro.

Let's look at the facts and find common opponents, (Fayette Academy and

Franklin Road Academy) (we already have the Jackson Christian/DCA score)

Franklin Road beat Fayette 36-24

Jackson Christian beat Fayette 35-8

USJ beat Fayette 35-6

Usually, scores don't matter. However, this shows USJ is 2 points better than

Jackson Christian. This seems to be very accurate!

and the common opponent is Franklin Road, which DCA beat 48-7.

briank, you did bump your head! The final score will be DCA 42 USJ 7

I think that any team that plays in the state semifinals probably has the hearts of lions so I don't understand how somebody can say that their team plays harder than the other teams in the state. USJ is a very solid team and does play very hard, but by this point in the season every team is solid. It just comes down to which one plays better on that night. I think USJ will struggle stopping DCA's running game.

DCA cant possibly hope to be able to run the ball on USJ...they also havent seen the overall team speed that USJ has...USJ wins...34-24...the hobock has spoken...PEACE!!!

You must be joking. You don't think CPA and Mt Pleasant have team speed? CPA put up 28 points on Riverdale who has probably the fastest defense in the state. DCA has seen plenty of speed.

hiker, do you really think CPA faced Riverdales' "A" game? Rankin treated that game like a scrimmage...bring it on!!!...the hobock has spoken...PEACE!!!

Riverdale sub'ed for ONE series on offense, they were stopped and the first team

played the rest. Same with defense.

When DCA played Jackson Christian, they played the worst game they have played all season. Lots of turnovers and injuries were running rampent at that time.
