Shelbyville is coming back with only loosing 1 Senior, but replacing her with a stronger Freshman.  Also bringing back a Sophmore that moved away last year, but is retuning as a very strong player.  With these two plus 10 returning starters, these girls might come up from the dirt and impress alot of critics.  Guess we'll see at Katie Hunter.  With that said, if you saw these girls last year, add about 20% more talent and speed.  Might be just THE team to watch.

Franklin will be the strongest team to watch because they only lost 4 seniors whereas Farragut and Brentwood lost around 11 each

Tullahoma will be stronger this year all around. 6 returning starters all played club ball and was impressive. Can't wait to see them all together on one team. The lose Tullhoma had will be easily replaced with Jr, sophomores.

if I remember correctly in all honesty...they should have lost in region semis to Siegel down 2-1 until end of regulation and then down again in OT....Siegel's goalie won that game for them..Siegel also lost no one and they don't lose anyone this year either

most certainly does matter with a statement like that....it proves that they aren't a lock to make it there. It proves siegel can hang with tullahoma and if they learn from their late game mistakes last year with all freshman and sophomores what are they gonna do over the next two years with the exact same players plus some good middle schoolers coming up

I believe that they heard that all year about not being able to beat this team and that team...you wont beat Cookeville you won't beat so and so....Anyone who was at that game knows that Tullahoma was given the game

I was at that game and no way was Tullahoma given the game. They won it fair and in overtime. Tullahoma earned that win!!! Siegel has a great team and will be hard to beat but I was there and I have seen the tapes it was a game will played by both teams!!!! It was an even called game. thumb

congrats that makes two of us...so tell me....does a goalie letting a bouncing dribbler go right t hrough her hands count as earning a win? never said anything about the officiating but i agree it was called even. I agree Tullahoma put up a great fight and all Im just saying that a couple of inexperienced mistakes in OT lost that game for Siegel

    • And that needs to go, Charter ,private ,magnet, city and any school that operates differently than pure public schools should be separated. What really needs to be done is address urban and rural. About all the usual powers have access to several kids from other schools period.
    • Sad deal. Hate it. So the coach that kicked her off is now fired??
    • Slightly off topic from a gender standpoint but just observed several boys volleyball games in the Knoxville area for a short spring season. The guys seemed to have a great time. There were several club players on each team but several football, basketball and tennis players involved. Knoxville Catholic, Maryville, Heritage, Knoxville West maybe William Blount had teams. Thanks to Coach Brent Carter from Knoxville Catholic/K2 for getting it together. I’m sure the coaches involved got several laughs trying to coach guys that really had no idea what they were talking about but pretty athletic and competitive. Catholic’s best basketball player told the coach he had played a lot of 2:3 and 1:3:1 but never a 3:3 LOL Maybe it will catch on with some more schools next year.
