Dude, that was a typo. I have said you were a good player more than once, i will quote them for you if you would like. I went back and corrected it anyways.

I do not think you are a good player, but nothing more of a baby sad b/c he got blocked on a dunk, got a technical foul that turned the game around for his team, and LOST... A good player would've dunked that ball and not looked around, maybe next time you will watch out for Hicks on your way to the basket

Thanks for getting back on topic owlsfan10. I thought Ooltewah would win the second game between these two. I was dead wrong. That said, I think a fire has been lit under Ooltewah concerning McMinn County. I look for Ooltewah to take this one, especially since they are at home.

Ok...quick question...I haven't read all the posts so maybe this one has already been answered, but how come the McMinn fans were yelling "CURTIS" there at the end of the game..I mean when he wasn't even playing? That didn't make much sense to me, so maybe one of you Macminn folks can explain that to me. Oh and a couple observations..concerning the student section, first of all i was disappointed that none of our fans made it up but I hope that yall bring a lot to the nest in a couple weeks, so yall can see how a real spirit section works. haha JK I think that would make the game pretty interesting though. But anyway just a little advice to your fans...if you are gonna make a sign don't write it in pink or orange or whatever color that was, no one could read it so it just looked kinda stupid. And my last comment..is about #3 from McMinn...I think he is the most obnoxious and annoying person I have ever seen in my life! And if we got technical fouls he should have gotten one for the fit he pitched after he fell on his face diving for the ball early on in the game. I must say, though, that he was a little more tame the other night than he was at the Tourney down at Southeast. But he just needs to calm down.

You can't hate on the McMinn fans for doing what me and a few others did at Ooltewah last year. It would be hypocritical for me to say otherwise. Any kid that loves high school sports has heckled a team or a player. It's part of the game, you play through it. Curtis, next time I hope you dunk over there whole freaking team, good luck!

Let me just let you McMinn folks in on something. I know yall are arguing with CPowl#42 and it has been quite comical for me and others, but this CPowl#42 isnt actually Curtis. This I know because 1) I talked to him today and he had no clue about the name, and 2) Wouldnt it be hard for Curtis to post at 3:09 PM. He would actually have been on the basketball court at practice at 3:09 PM. So I don't know who has been providing the comics on here lately, but it isn't Curt. Not taking up for him just stating facts.

 

And I do agree that sometimes from a players stand point it is best to just ignore what the fans are saying. Obviously as a player you still here it and at sometimes it is quite funny or even obscene at times (nothing obscene from McMinn Tuesday) but the best thing to do is go on like you didnt hear cause I know players told me they were hearing yall yell stuff at the the other night.
