No one should EVER underestimate LC. This is especially true when you are playing them at the 'Pit'. You may win or lose, but you WILL know that you have been in a game.

They are losing a top notch runningback in Josh Gregory. But you can never put it past LC to always having a team that will compete.

I hear that Gregory is being courted by Vandy (why...I will never know), and L.T. Williams will go to a D-1 school. Other than that, I don't know.

I totally disagree. In my opinion, Gregory was about the third best running back on this year's team. Chip Emmons was a lot more determined runner but couldn't keep his self out of trouble, and Quan Buchanan ran the ball really hard as well. Buchanan was a sophomore and will be back next year, along with another sophomore, Jeremy Ramsey, who ran the ball hard when he was called on.

i think LC will be on top of the region next year, and i will agree with an ealier post that the pit is a heck of a place to play, but my favorite all-time memory from the pit was in 1997 when Chris Elam had like 350 yards and Coffee County ate the falcons for lunch.

I always thought Emmons had a lot of talent. The young man is gifted.

Blackman, Oakland, and Riverdale are their non-region games. Oakland plays them at Home , thank goodness!

R'dale has them at home this year as well. That may not be an advantage as they and Dickson County have the only two wins in Tomahawk Stadium.
