We were luck to win. We didn't play a lick of defense in the first half. Did a better job in the 2nd. If Unicoi hits their free throws we probably get beat. But it's a good win on the road. thumb

Well we've got Hampton tomorrow night. I've heard they lost to Johnson Co. the other night... we should be able to have a good game.

Well CHS795, Central only lost by 15 and by what the coach said in the Kingsport Times the refs had something to do with that score. How do you think Central will do in the Florida Tournament?  Are there any good teams in this tournament?

Typical coach complainig to the paper about the officiating when they get beat just like he did against Boone and then saying the officials made the correct call in the paper when they beat Unicoi.

Good win against Hampton. Leonard played horrible defense, though. Let me know your thoughts about the game. Next week we have North, South, and the big one... Happy Valley.

Another hard fought win against a pretty good Hampton team. Buchanan and Weatherford had good games. Also Leanard, after a slow start, came through at the end with some key baskets a couple of free throws. Our defense continues to struggle. We'll have to improve if we're to win the big ones down the road. Big week coming up. Go Cougars.

Tonight is the first game of a tough week for us. We have North tonight @ home. Should be a good way for us to prepare for the Friday night game against Happy Valley. Thoughts?

Wasn't able to attend tonight's game, had to work However my informers who attended tell me the Cougars played really well. Thursday and Friday's games should tell us how good we are. South is playing pretty well right now and Happy Valley will be tough at their place. Go Cougars !
