Quick question about Alcoa

Hey first off congratulations on winning what was apparently a big one!

 

I was reading the Knox News Sentinel article on your win and read that a Richeon Bell returned a punt for 86 yards to break the record for longest punt return in the bowl game. Here's the link:

Okay, my question is is that Richeon Bell the same one that played with me as a sophomore when I was a junior and I think also my senior year (04) but I'm not sure on that one. Does anyone out there know?

It is the same Richeon Bell. I talked to his dad last night after the game. He said the OR coaches told him he was too small to play football. Maybe he is but he has come up big for Alcoa all year. Sometimes the size of a guys heart matters more than the size of his body.

Yes that is the same Richeon Bell from OR. His brother is Sneak and I'm his Brother in-law. He made the play of the game in my opinion!! Without that PR Alcoa would have been is serious trouble!! I told him that he would make a big play in the state game and he did!! thumb

He has been making big plays for us all year. He really stepped it up after the Maryville game and IMO was instumental in Alcoa making it to the Boro. One of the best open field tacklers on the team. We are sure glad he was too small for OR. thumb
