Is there any team in the district that can beat Livingston. If so who? Livingston is playing really well, but i think they can still be beat but it would take playing a good game. Upperman and Dekalb co. could give livingston a game after watching them play each other last night. Two quality teams but just not as deep as livingston. Anybody have any opinions.

Sounds like the CATS have a real solid team. Hope they don't peak to early in the year like most teams in past history. The 68- 69 wildcats beat Crossville 3 times by 30 and lost the first game of the district to them just to name one and there were many others. Coach needs to keep shuffling players in and out and keep the bench on its toes like Cookeville did against them. It won't matter come tournament time if they finish 4th they still can beat anybody in this district.

i wouldnt be so sure about LA and York being the two top teams.....i watched the Upperman and Dekalb game and both teams look real solid with pretty good depth

I heard that DC may be the sleeper this year and that Upperman was coming along rather slow but it's still to early the jury is still out on all these teams. I look for a good competitive race in this district.

your up early tree....i really dont know what that one guy was talkin about.... i thought both of those teams were below what they have been....Dekalb got most of their points off transition and the only time upperman did anything is when gilliam took it to the basket and asberry made some jumpers, other than that no where near as impressive as LA or York....to me anyways

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
