Catalyst
Westmoreland may be down a little this year because of youth, but they still will not have any trouble with RBS. Eagles by 10+.

ballplaya32
I know Zach Custer is back.... I predict that Westmoreland will handle RBS pretty easily... just my opinion, and here are some reasons why I think so... 1) they can shoot the lights out from deep (no surprise) 2)they can run offense for like 45 seconds until they get a wide open jump shot or layup... they are extremely disciplined 3)They are extremely quick, even their big guys However, one of their big guys (came off the bench) did get in a car wreck, he's ok and will be there, but I am not sure if he will be playing... that could play a factor. Westmoreland really doesn't score a whole lot this year, but part of that is just because they take so much time to find a wide open shot. So their margins of victory do not necessarily reflect their level of dominance... My prediction... Westmoreland 61 RBS

x-player
ballplaya you left out the most important ingredient to a westmoreland win DEFENSE.i hope you are mearly a fan, coach graves would be highly dissapointed to know a player that came through his program didnt want to play DEFENSE. gotmilk?
I seen a couple of games last year where Custer shot the lights out! Anyone else that will put up big numbers for the Eagles?

However, I will say that though their defense is solid, its not as tight as in past years. I can remember seeing them play and every pass being denied and the on the ball defense being smoking hot. Also, their FC press isn't as effective in past years. Like I said earlier, their defense is still very solid and they can definitely frustrate teams...just not like the past 3 or 4 years. I guess I was spoiled by watching that WHS team a couple of years ago. BTW, where are all of the Westmoreland fans??? In the past, they have swarmed the CoachT boards.... swanson71
I take RBS in a close one...since it's homecoming for RBS...
x-player
playa ive only got to see them once and the team they played wasnt very good so your probably right about the defense although im sure it is still being pushed by the coaches. they're not as athletic or intense as in years passed.got some older kids playing but some of them havent had much experience.
