Well i dont know who is east but oliver springs and anderson county should be on the list if their east.

Everyone always underestimates OZ and AC. Well OZ more than AC. But I think this year the LITTLE OZ is goin pull some BIG UPSETS.

My list was Dirtict 2 only and in the order I saw our district shaping up, if you want to list your district that's fine.

I would put OS at the top of their District again and AC behind them.

Oliver Springs has always been pretty good. Anderson Co. looks like it might be pretty good. I will be sure and watch them when they play Jackson Co. as that'll show just how good they are.

Yep, she was the Real Deal; though I'd have preferred those shots be taken in overtime. I was just beginning to learn the players' numbers.

How can you say South Greene is the strongest team athletically? When you have Pigeon Forge and Chuckey Doak with no district losses.

 

The way I see district 2 is as follows

Pigeon Forge 3-0

Chuckey Doak

South Greene

Claiborne

Rutledge

West Greene

Gatlinburg Pittman

Cumberland Gap

Union County

 

I think Pigeon Forge is stronger and deeper than Chuckey Doak but anything can happen, but until these 2 teams lose a district game they have to be on top.

 

As for the East in Region 1 I would have to say Elizabethton is the team to beat.

Iam not sure who you all are refering to as "EAST" but if my memory serves me me:

 

This is the list of the State Finalist from the "EAST"

 

2004 Seymore and OS

2003 AE and Seymore

2002 AE and OS

 

All of these teams are at different levels now but by the end of the season they all will be in the thick of things....AE is very young...but tuff. Many top notch AAU players. Same with AC. They will battle OS , if they can get thru to regionals...they will be tuff at substates. Alcoa is also young...but they will be a problem and the dark horse will be Fulton....youall up "EAST" do not have the road to states yet....you will have to go thru these teams first.

"These Teams" will not include Seymour this year. Alcoa I'm not sure of but, OS will be tuff.

I don't know why you keep thinking I am not including the other districts, I was only comparing our district for our team and region.

 

If you would respond to the thread which was "So what do you think / East Tennessee AA Basketball" you would be writing the same about your district and your region, which we know more about than others, instead of slamming other people about their posts.

Ain't Walker Valley still in East TN.....They are tough this yr. especially in AA ...but then again they should be .....they have twice as many students as everybody else they play......Wait till next yr. their bubble will burst hard.
