Wow thanks for the scores Jose.

Looks like some great wrestling with some rematches from Blackhorse in there.

I am particularly interested in the fact that Marable looks to have wrestled the TG 152 as opposed to the 171 that decisioned Borneman. Looks like Nick finally made it down to his proper weight and TG had to bump someone to him at 160. I know Nick had a great match up in Missouri, just wondering why he didn't wrestler the 71 from Totino, I know lots of people were looking forward to that.

I hate I missed all the action, had to stay late at the office...

Odd how both Grissom and the might Wave both managed nine points against Totino Grace.

Looks like Cordova had a good day knocking off both Houston and Germantown. Looks like the Germantown match was one heck of a match and it came down to the forfit from G'town at the end. I bet the match between Randall Mitchner and Kenny was awesome, those are two intense individuals!

Big pin for Michael Jennings with one second left against Grissom, I am sure all the wave personnel were really happy to get that one. Looks like Baucke had his hands full in an overtime match with Prince from Grissom, bet that one had both teams jumping.

Looks like Stewart Allen just came in with plans of adding to his pin total today too, impressive performance from the big boy.

All roads lead to Houston today as 13 dual meets rocked the Memphis area wrestling scene.  All I can say is... wow!  My son luckily pinned his TG opponent in the first period, unlike every other fellow wrestler.  These kids needed an oven mit because this was some HOT wrestling!

Lucky catch, but a W is a W.

Brother Josh?  Dragon Lindow is the only R8er that pinned against TG in the first...

Unless I'm confused - I don't know the identity of DAD...

Josh simply overpowered and out wrestled his TG opponent, but pinned in the 3rd, right?

What a nerd- I accidentally deleted my post upon my attempt to edit. Thank you for quoting me so quickly.

I was going to add that I hope our boys learned a lesson from the spanking.

Now Coach Bray what kind of lesson is that for the kids  :P;) !  Come on guys be sneakly about it ;) .  Just messing with ya thumb .

On another topic I don't think anyone in the state could have taken Totino Grace this year but there might have been some closer matches...

Just an observation, but wrestling teams in West Tennesse is not always the best barometer of what the state has to offer.

Tex,

I do take that a little personally, but you are right in many cases and I do respect your opinion. I believe, and many others statewide would agree, that the West is working hard to improve as we are very tired of being looked down upon.

All that said, I do believe that the good folks from Collierville are currently ranked fifth in the state and thier only wins against Totino Grace were at 215 and 275 where their boys are currently ranked 3rd and 4th respectively (and deservedly so if I do say so!). All be it they were missing a few top competitors in the Hunts and #1 ranked Kent Johnson and Shawn Speroff, but I seriously doubt that the presence of these four would have changed the outcome. I am not even sure if it would have truly affected the score much (not to demean those guys ;) ).

No doubt that the boys from Bradley or Franklin might have given them a better match but I doubt the outcomes would have changed and honestly I think the scores wouldn't have changed much based on what the guys from TG did against some other top ranked competition from other teams.
