jacketsfan13
I am so sick of people whining about people not being politically correct. I have watched alot of basketball and have always heard the bench being referred to as scrubs, even if they are as great as you say. Get over it and quit getting your feelings hurt. When those girls are starting they can call someone else a scrub. Not everything in life goes directly by Webster's dictionary.

Purple & Gold Standard
Cleveland has one of the strongest group of sophmores and freshmen around. Do they deserve to be referred to as scrubs? Are you a true supporter of this program as your name indicates. We should all take a close look at what we post on this page. I hope none of the underclassmen read your post. 825508478[/snapback] The "bench-warmers" don't care what they are called...They are just thrilled to play in varsity game.... thorough97
At least she didn't do what Paul Cretten did when he was Bradley Central's girls coach did about 10 years ago. He only brought 8 girls to play Ooltewah (Bradley had a girls' JV then too) and kept either Amy Geren or Paige Redman on the floor the entire 32 minutes. That's one of the reasons the 2 schools will not play each other to this day.

showtime7
Clevelandblueraider fan don't take these people to serious. Their precious little daughters were probably part of the kids you were refering to that were in a the end of the game. I don't think by no means what you said should have been taken like it was. You were basically saying the kids that sit at the end of the bench finally got a chance to go in the game. I think some of these parents need to get off their high horse and out of their dream land and not take it personal when someone just plainily states that the kids that warm the bench got to play in this certain game. Just be happy your kids got to play cause with the schedule that cleveland is playing their may not be many more chances for them to play. I really don't care what they say. If I was playing basketball, I would be one of the "scrubs". I probably wouldn't play in the better part of 2 games. Thanks for having my back thumb GO LADY RAIDERS!!!
