Knee pads are for panzies. I took it like a man when I wrestled.

 

Of course, maybe that why during wrestling season I had almost no hair on my knees.

Knee pads arent for panzies. I didnt use to wear a knee pad on my left knee and i screwed it up. Now i have to wear a bulky orthopedic just so my knee wont swell up if i land on it.

I thought that people wear kneepads so that they can shoot faster. Thats why I wear it anyways, it helps my outside single. I thought its like the same as wearing tights.

I have a pair of Asics Unrestrained knee pads for when my knees bother me. I rarely wear them, but when I do they stay put, do not get hot and sweatty since they have a cloth material to wrap around the leg, since they don't get sweatty they don't stink, and they provide good impact protection.

 

As far as "Real men don't wear kneepads" that does not apply to coaches who have to earn a living and can't aford to have an injury. Coaches also can't "sit out" of practice like an injured wrestler can. High school kids can have one and go on and not negatively affect their lives or livelihoods.
