john lyons has the potential to be a state champion. but he won't ever be one if he continues to goof off in practice. if he is pushed he can be great. i'm the reason he is as good as he is right now.

Ben don't give yourself that much credit im his drill partner now!!! Next time your in town come to practice and I'll lay the smack down on you and show you how hard we work at practice. jk

Did anyone see Riley's pin against Ryan this past weekend? Incredible.

 

He's got to be the obvious favorite at 275. His combination of size, experience, and instinct gives him a great shot at winning state. He's also as classy as they come in high school wrestling and it's always great to see wrestlers of his integrity succeed.

 

Look for him to be one of MBA's many bright spots in the State tournament.

No, I don't think so. If I am not mistaken, Leach wrestles for Franklin High School, which precludes him from winning the DII 275 title. (Unless Franklin has started recruiting and giving financial aid to all of its Grassland Middle School wrestlers.)

I think that Jake Simmons from Baylor has just as good as an opportunity to win it as anyone.  He is 1 and 1 with Green, both matches going into double overtime.  The state champion will be whoever is on that day, and Simmons will be on.

Well glad to know that all the time which make it any time i get to work with him is not productive. Glad John has a wrestler who teaches him and shows him all he needs to know and learn.

      Upperman White County both will be loaded. Dyersbirg and South Side will be a handful as well. Getting about that time in about 3 weeks we start watching summer scrimmages. Dyersburg loaded loaded loaded with talent. Most talent ever I have seen in their program.

      The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??

      If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
