what does gomab think about israel? or ANY OF THE recruiting services? not that i worship gomab or anything, but he does watch alot of basketball and i don't believe i've seen his name on any recruiting list.. i have never heard of him and i have seen alot of high school basketball games and AAU teams play the last few years. you would think he would want to play for a school where he can be seen? or at least play for a school that plays good enough teams where someone would see him. I agree with sportster, WHY LIGHTHOUSE?

I have to agree with heartofthegame, I was a senior the first year Isreal came to Lighthouse and he was a RAW talent. The kid couldnt even remember a simple dropstep let alone multiple plays. The kid works his butt off and deserves everything he gets. Who cares where he goes to school if the kid can play, and he can, they whats it matter where he goes?

It matters to college coaches because of the level of competition they faced while putting up those stats. They want to know what you can do against the level of players that they will face in college. Why do you think that they pay more attention to AAU these days? Playing in the Christian school association will not provide that. Like it or not the competition is extremely weak.

exactly, bigchief. that's why i couldn't understand if the kid was good, i couldn't understand why he chose Lighthouse? I'm sure God wouldn't be upset if he chose another school that could give him a better opportunity for his future plans.

QUESTION>>>.. Does all of the players that play for Lighthouse attend school there???? I know a team that they played a week or so ago that half their team did not even attend school at the school that they were playing for.... Some attended Public Schools, some were home schooled etc. etc.

lol yeah we all attend school at lighthouse. thats a funny question i never knew you could do that? um your right it is very weak but thats how air force saw him was playin aau. i completely understand where you guys are coming from with the why lighthouse? God is the only reason he has. so thats the only reason i have to give ya sorry i wish i knew more.

I personally know of three schools that Light house has on their schedule in which not all of their players attend school there... THAT IS A FACT..... So now you may see why collge coaches not always put alot of credibility in programs whom are not a member of a governing body that falls under the National Federal of High School Sports hence the TSSAA..... They are often times are viewed as second tier progeams whom make up their on rules as they go,,,,,

They could beat ALL teams in 9A now. They've beaten CPA two or three times now, and CPA has beaten FRA, Goodpasture, Ezell.

Lighthouse is hot this year they are better than alotta teams in TSSAA

Lighthouse has beaten CPA 3 times and beat Ezell Harding pretty good in a scrimmage game and would beat goodpasture to since ezell has beaten them and CPA had crushed ezell.Lighthouse would move to TSSAA but wouldnt do any good for all there grls sports.Basketball and baseball are there strong points.

Ezell wont go far this year or the next couple years i would be surprised to see them make it to state this year.The coaches there are the most immature coaches I have seen.

Sporster i agree with you when you say that. there isnt as much credit and there shouldnt. i was just taken up for my friend because you put him on front street and was blazing him. i really didn know we played any schools like that. thats a trip. Shakes thanks for the props but i must say if joe lackey steps it up i would be suprised if they didnt compete in the semi's for state. but he is the key, it seems he tries to see how well duke is going to play and then he might try to turn it on. his team is going to jumo on his back and go for the ride.like when the played cpa he had nine points but cpa is weakest in the post and for him to be ranked at 43rd in the state for seniors you have to prove it. and i honestly think thats why they got beat. i have heard poor things about their caoch but i really have no idea.
