South Gwinnett is down by 6 at half-time. Williams has 14 pts., I think. The Durant kid for Oak Hill is very impressive. Gordon has done nothing but look like a fool every trip down the court. They have him guarding Louis, who is abusing him every trip down the court. If South gets rolling, this could go down to the wire.

Oak Hill is getting embarrassed and will be getting their second loss of the season. South Gwinnett put on a heck of a show and proved me wrong. After a long road trip from MS, the put their high flying act together and beat the #1 team in the country. Williams had a huge night with 30 pts. MY OH MY...

This is one of the best high school games I have seen in a long time. Jamont did not have that many points. He was having a hard time dealing with two guards that were 10x quicker than he ever thought about being. South Gwinnett is an extremely fast team and Oak Hill played in to their hands when they got into a running game. Williams and Mercer live to show their ups. What did you guys think about the dunk that Mercer did at the end of the game...sticking his whole arm into the rim....oh memories of Vince!!!

How are you gonna say Louis Williams abused Jamont everytime down the court? Jamont kept him from scoring more times than not. Louis scored most of his points with someone else guarding him. Jamont probably had 20 points and over 10 boards. Louis Williams is a better player but you dont have to out right bash another player for whatever reason. Mike Mercer can out right throw it down. But I say if Oak Hill plays SG 5 times they would win 4 out of 5. However it was a great game and both teams are the real deal. But I have to agree with Gomab that Monta Ellis is the #1 player in the nation, not Louis Williams.

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
