Blakely got into foul trouble in the 1st half (the 2nd was a bad call) and had to sit. Scott Walker stepped up and played tough inside. It was either a 5 or 7 point lead at the half. hancock played well in the 2nd half but blakely was unstopable inside. A 4 point play & two key FTs by manning combined with good defense and ball control down the stretch gave The Eagles a big road win. It was good timing. They've got some big games in the next few weeks. I just want to say how nice the new hancock co. gym is. This was my 1st trip over there. (Same "hancock style" players and fans. A lot of you know what I mean) I also want to mention how fairly the game was called. In such a close game it would have been easy to get a little "home cookin' to swing it the other way. But these two guys called it fair all night.

Cosby always blames the officials. So, they must have got a home game on the road. Cosby was very lucky to escape with a win. This Hancock team is just starting to get it together. Hope to see you at tourney time. This is a great rivalry and I love being part of it as a former player and coach.

I guess you weren't at the game. The only thing I agree with in you post is that this is a great rivalry. Yeh, Blakely and Manning sure are lucky..... Campbelle2
Tell us about the phantom walk after a Hancock steal with 30 seconds? Also, give us a take on the double foul in the first half where #21 of Cosby flagrantly fouled #35 Hancock twice in the middle of the floor. Hancock had numerous clean blocks called fouls. Hancock was in more foul trouble than Cosby. Both posts had four fouls. Thanks for your loss for words on your reply to Hancock players and fans. Also, give us a take on the double foul in the first half where #21 of Cosby flagrantly fouled #35 Hancock twice in the middle of the floor. Todd did flagrantly foul #35. But it was retaliation. Todd is a young player who plays with a lot of emotion and isn't going to let anybody try to push him around. Flatford immediately sat him on the bench to cool him off. The Cosby players hadn't forgotten how hancock played at Cosby when they were 20+ points down. Numerous intentional hard fouls and players trying to "start something" I guess you didn't see or forgot to mention the hancock jv player (white, I think) who pushed Kelvin Rone and tried to start a fight. Kelvin is too smart to let someone pull him into that and didn't react. Thanks for your loss for words on your reply to Hancock players and fans. I don't have the time or the energy to spend a few hours explaining what I mean by "hancock style" players and fans. Anybody from East TN know exactly what I'm talking about and anyone who was at the game Tuesday knows it was typical. This will be my last post to you and in this thread. I'm not going to get into a flame war with you. That's not what CoachT is about. I hope to see hancock in the tournament also. That would be a sub-state game and would mean both teams had a shot at state. Good luck the rest of the year.
TheAnswer9
I can (with the help of my crystal ball) predict the correct winner of the game between Cosby - Hancock County!! Here it is: the team that has the most points on the board when it hit's triple 0s!!
