Thats one and a half steps PER dribble.

you can't take 2 steps, technicall you are taking 2 steps, but if you are going up for a lay up and you take 2 steps without dribbling then it is by rule a traveling violation, on a routine layup your first step is supposed to be the one in which the ball is bouncing back up into your hands, thus still being part of a dribble and counting as the half a step, then you get the last step to jump up with the other foot and lay it in...if you say that you get 2 steps that means you can just be standing there with the ball and run 2 steps without dribbling and not get called for a travel, it is the same principle...you get 1 and a half steps.....im just throwing the facts out there, im not saying the kid travelled or not i didn't see it so i dont know, i could really care less, if you think that one travelling call on that dunk won or lost the game you are really ignorant, temple is just better than picket and it showed and arguing over that call is pointless, maybe you guys will get lucky in the state who knows, and also there is really no point in any of the temple fans arguing it either, why do you care if people thought it was a walk? did it get called? no so just go on with yourselves knowing it was a dunk and let the other people worry about their big loss, and make that the end of the story

Yes the one and a half dribbles is the rule mnewballer got it right. But did it change the game no. Was it a walk yes. Hardly any refs are gonna be looking at a players feet right before he goes up for a huge dunk over someone. Keep in mind time was running down and they have to keep track of that. He caught the ball ouside of the 3 point line and took on dribble and then two full steps. I'm glad they didnt call it though it was a great dunk right on someone.

    • Wiz, could you kindly inquire of MP whether my pork shoulder has completed its duration in the smoker? My appetite has been piqued, and I eagerly await its readiness. Regrettably, it appears that despite my attempts at communication, there has been no response forthcoming from him.
    • Given your evident depth of knowledge on coaching matters, I'm intrigued to hear your perspective on who you believe would be the most suitable candidate for the position.
    • If he’s the best option that isn’t good. I heard he couldn’t even get the qb to play baseball this year.  kids aren’t coming out for him either he’s in the same boat. But it’s trousdale county and it’s just baseball. You can win one game a year same goes for basketball no one will even kno or talk about it. Just like up here on the hill basketball is the more serious thing in my books if you start losing there’s usually some change..
    • I live in Macon and watched both but I’ll take up for satterfield on this one look at the dudes he has these 2 years compared to the others don’t forget we barely even scored on them there for awhile when he started coaching there just look at 2018 on   If you give him athletes to play with he’s a dangerous d c.
    • I don’t know how Huntingdon did vs Creekwood varsity today but I did hear the Huntingdon middle school girls beat Creekwood and Westview JV teams by 30 both games today.
